International Horticulture Training Center (IHITC) Trials, March 2011
Chandra Associates is conducting trials at International Horticulture Training Center (IHITC), Jaipur, India. These shelf life extension trials are being conducted on a variety of fruits, vegetables and cut flowers at ambient temperatures ranging between 25-32 C. The objective of these trials is to demonstrate the ability of CA FILMS in extending the shelf life of produce even without a cold chain. Click here for trial results.
Results from the Shelf Life extensions at 32 C:
Gerbera extended to 7 days (shelf life) and 3 days (vase life)
Carnation extended to 7 days (shelf life) and 5 days (vase life)
Roses extended to 7 days (shelf life) and 6 days (vase life)
